Our summer program is a week-long immersion in the MEDscience learning model offered at the Harvard Medical School campus. Students will be able to participate in medical simulations, learn clinical skills, meet practitioners, visit hospitals in the Longwood Medical Area and become CPR-certified. 

1. Who is eligible to apply? 

Any student who is currently in 9th-12th grade (student must complete 9th grade before summer session begins).

3. Are there over-night accomodations? 

No, this is a day-only program.

5. What is the Tuition?

To accommodate a wide range of students we offer this program on a sliding tuition scale. You may select the tuition you can afford and slots will be allotted according to availability. Please note that there are only a few scholarship (0$) available. Tuition options are:

7. Will the program provide me with any certifications?

All participating students will receive CPR-certification and a certification of Harvard Medical School MEDscience program completion.

8. If I'm accepted, do I have to be there for the whole week?

YES. Your commitment to the team is vital to to the program. Any absence affects your teammates. 

9. Should I bring lunch?

Breakfast, lunch and a healthy snack are provided each day. Please inform us of any dietary restrictions.

10. Where is the class located?


Our primary location is at Harvard Medical School Gilbert Simulation Center, directly on the historic Longwood Quadrangle in the Armenise Building. We will also take trips to local hospitals and skills centers.
